Never gave it much thought before, but the people in these articles are using white beets for sugar production, and red for lipstick, of course.

And a bunch of folks are up in arms over the GMO beets…..I can’t argue with them.

Although this video shows chamomile tea, you could be making essence of basil or lavender or coffee or etc.  Personally, I bought a much smaller French Press than she’s using in the video and I find it more than adequate.   I did go for one made with glass and stainless steel.  No plastic and hot water for me, thanks.
